The show was successful in a number of ways.

First: I actually Broke even on donations to cost of the booths and such.

Second: I met many people needing Vagabond services.

Third and most important I REHOMED around 100 koi between 2 inches to 8 inches.

And some supporters of Vagabond displayed their artistic sides with donated arts and crafts items up for donation.

Ohh and my rescues won awards (long story but they now reside in my personal ponds) I got best in class, 4 first place for size and 1 second place for size.

The UT did a human interest story on Vagabond Koi just prior to the show.  It went to print in the Friday paper just a day before show time.

I was amazed at the response the next day at the show. I had a large number of people wanting to say hi and tell me they thought what I was doing  is a very nobel thing to do. I was all smiles.

I hadn't known so many people would care about what I did.

I don't know how many times I heard "I came to the show to meet you, You are doing such a wonderful thing."
